Deze LP heb ik al een tijd. De prachtige hoes staarde me al vroeg aan uit de platenbak.

Toen ik de link kon leggen met nummers als "Strange Brew" en "Sunshine Of Your Love" was het nog slechts wachten  tot ik genoeg gespaard had om de +/- 15 guldens aan de LP uit te geven.

Voor mij is deze LP ook een mooi voorbeeld van de Flowerpower periode en de creativiteit die dat  los maakte. De schoonheid en de hoogtepunten zitten in de genoemde nummers. De creativiteit en het  tijdsbeeld vooral in de rest van de LP.

"Somebody To Love" en "White Rabbit" zijn in Nederland dus op 1 single uitgebracht. Wat een prachtige combi. En 7 weken in de top 10 is dan een mooie score. En in  week 33 geflankeerd door Back Home van de Golden Earring en Cat Stevens met  Lady D'Arbanville. Toen was de Top 40 luisteren echt een feest!
